SHEEP AND GOAT POX DISEASE
- Red spots that become blisters on the muzzle, eyelids, ears, udder or in severe cases all over the body.
- Lesions can develop internally causing breathing difficulties.
- Fever.
- Eye and nose discharge or swollen eyelids.
- Depression.
- Reluctance to feed.
- Death.
Sheep Pox and Goat Pox are serious, often fatal, diseases characterized by widespread skin eruption.
Eyelids become swollen, and mucopurulent discharge crusts the nostrils. The widespread skin lesions are most readily seen on the muzzle, ears, and areas free of wool or long hair.
